BH-Zubehör im Großhandel: Straps, Extenders, Clips and Converters

Inhaltsverzeichnis

Accessories keep selling after a garment line moves on: a strap, an extender, or a clip pack is bought by the customer who needs the size that ran out. Most buyers treat that shelf as an afterthought and get hook widths that do not match the closure.

The fix is a specification, not a catalog review: non-padded hardware and webbing — straps, Extender, converters, clips, plus shoulder pads and tape — on one purchase order.

What Counts as a Bra Accessory Here

Five families carry a non-padded accessory program — woven and elastic straps, hook-and-eye extenders, converters such as jumper clips, rings and hook-and-loop strips, strap clips, and two add-ons, silicone shoulder pads and garment tape — each defined by a dimension that must match a part on the garment.

Pad and insert construction sits outside this scope: Materialien, shapes and attachment routes are covered in types of bra inserts. How a strap is concealed on an adhesive garment is a consumer question handled in our guide to stick-on and adhesive bras. Hardware rarely fixes a fit problem.

These are service and basket-build parts: the extender that fits a best-selling closure keeps a size run alive instead of marking it down, and a spare strap pair turns a lost strap into a line item.

Strap Extenders: Rows, Hook Width, and Finish

Hook Rows and Eye Count

An extender inherits the tolerance of the closure it joins, so match the row count first: extenders are typically produced with 2, 3, oder 4 hook rows, and a closure with a different count can load fewer eyes than intended.

Then measure hook width — the distance across the prongs’ outer faces; public wholesale listings commonly show 8–12 mm for standard closures. Eye columns set adjustability: two to four give one to three positions, each shifting the band by a row pitch that clusters near 18–20 mm on comparable listings.

Webbing, TPR, and Plated Metal

Three body routes change cost and read: woven polyester webbing, bare warp-knit elastic, and molded TPR. Webbing looks like part of the garment, takes dye, and holds stitch. TPR reads as a component and usually sits in the lower quoted tiers on public listings.

Metal hooks are usually plated wire — brass or steel over a nickel underlayer. Entry 27 of REACH Annex XVII caps nickel release from parts in direct and prolonged skin contact and names garment hardware, hooks included; a coating clears the cap only while release stays under it through two years of normal use. Ask which method a report used — EN 1811 for bare metal, EN 12472 for coated parts — on the exact plated component; a report is evidence, not packaging copy. OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 publishes limit values for restricted substances including extractable nickel, shared language for supplier comparison. Der multi style bra extender spec table says Polyester while the same page’s copy says nylon — settle one material line before sampling.

Converters and Multi-Style Hardware

A converter changes where strap load enters the garment, which is the buying question. A jumper clip joins both straps and spreads load over two points; a ring gathers them at one, carrying the combined pull and sometimes reading as a pressure point.

Write three numbers per converter: opening width against strap width, ring inner diameter and wire gauge, and mass per piece. A decorative ring under about 1 mm tends to flex open under repeated tension. Where a clip grips rather than hooks, tooth count and length must suit the fabric.

Hook-and-loop strips hold according to the fabric they are stitched to, so order them with the webbing. Put dimensions on the pack.

Strap Clips and Elastic Straps

Clips come as two-, three-, or four-tooth tacklers, and tooth count is a fabric decision: more teeth spread grip on a thin woven strap and cut walk-off, fewer suit a narrow loop. Record channel width against strap width, and whether the clip is sewn on during assembly or slips over a finished strap — different routes, different lead times. Der polyester bra strap clips page is 100% polyester in eight sizes, with a 1,000-piece MOQ.

Width bands run 10, 12, 15, Und 18 mm on most public listings, and width moves load spread, loop fit, and edge behavior after wear. Narrow straps tend to dig and curl; wide ones sit flatter but can slide off a sloped shoulder. Loop width is the hard constraint, so measure it first. Der multi style bra strap page here sells clear silicone straps by length, 64 cm or 32 cm.

On elastic, buy stretch and recovery. Public listings describe elongation in the 40–60% range of relaxed length, but permanent set, the length kept after repeated stretching, predicts complaints. Ask for a recovery figure with the method named — ASTM D1418 or an AATCC elastic-recovery method — after a stated cycle count, a creep check on the clip, and for US programs request the woven component’s fiber content declaration against 16 CFR Part 303.

Shoulder Pads and Garment Tape in the Same Program

Pads and garment tape are not hardware but behave like accessories: small units, no size curve, bought because something else on the order created the need. One purchase order saves freight per unit and gives the retail buyer an add-on. Der Schulterpolster aus Silikon page gives the pad side: a silicone body with TPU backing in skin, clear, or custom color.

Pad thickness, slope, and fixation inside a garment form a category of their own; here the question is only whether the pad shares your strap colorway and ships in the same carton. Der double-side adhesive fashion clothes tape page is a transparent PET film sold by piece or roll; its copy claims no residue on removal, so test that on your fabric.

Two spec lines order both: for tape, liner format, strip or roll dimensions, and wear time on your own fabric; for pads, relaxed shape, thickness at the widest point, and surface finish.

Bundling: Counts per Bag, Carding, and Ratio to the Main SKU

Order lines multiply along width, beenden, colorway, and pack format, plus card structure. The same extender in a plain polybag and on a printed header card is two routes with two minimums, so set the pack format before the assortment.

Bag counts commonly run from a 2-piece pair through 4- and 6-piece retail packs to bulk bags, and public listings quote these tiers per bag rather than per piece. Compare suppliers on pieces per bag and whether barcode and size-color stickers go on at the factory, then plan against these pages: 1,000 pieces for extenders and strap clips, 1,000 pairs for straps, 500 rolls or 1,000 pieces for tape.

Against the main SKU use two ratios: an attach rate for hardware shipped with each garment, tested at a low tier, and shelf depth in the closure widths and colors your size run uses. Who owns that forecast is the conversation in mistakes when choosing bra suppliers.

Accessory Checks at Receipt

Three checks catch most complaints. Finish: compare plated parts against the sealed sample and note whether the coating clouds, lifts, or rubs at the hook bends. Function: work a random subset of hooks and clips through open-and-close repetitions and record where one deforms or stops seating.

State your target cycle count on the purchase document so the sample gate and receipt check use one number. Abmessungen: webbing width drifts past tolerance, hook width by a fraction of a millimeter, and straps from two dye lots differ in color and recovery. Measure deep in the carton, and reconcile pieces per bag against the packing list before ticketing.

Thresholds, sampling plans, and grading belong to the framework in how to evaluate silicone nipple cover quality. Hardware is judged against the garment it meets; a mismatch is not forgiven because the piece was cheap.

Accessory family Spec to fix before sampling Evidence to request Check at receipt
Hook-and-eye extender 2/3/4 hook rows, hook width vs closure pitch, eye columns, webbing or TPR Nickel release report on the plated part; elongation and recovery figures Hooks seat without side strain; no deformation after repeated cycles
Jumper clip and rings Opening width vs strap width, ring inner diameter, wire gauge, mass per piece Coating spec; load statement for the gathering point Ring does not flex open; clip closes fully on the strap
Strap clip / tackler Teeth count and tooth length, channel width, sewn-on or slip-on Grip test on your fabric weight; plating adhesion report No creep under tension; teeth not crushed
Elastic and woven strap Width band 10/12/15/18 mm, elongation target, permanent set, Ballaststoffgehalt Recovery after a stated cycle count; crocking or color fastness result Width within tolerance deep in the carton; one dye lot
Shoulder pad add-on Relaxed shape, thickness at widest point, surface finish, colorway match Component-level material declaration Edge consistency; no surface tack or staining
Double-sided garment tape Liner format, strip or roll dimensions, pieces per pack Wear-time and residue data on your own fabric Liner releases cleanly; no edge drying in the pack

Accessory Margins and Order Value

Hardware is cheap in absolute terms and efficient to ship: one carton of extenders can carry the order value of a few dozen bras in less space. Money moves in the formats that turn a piece into a product — the header card, the multi-pack, the kit.

Build three rungs: an entry pack easy to add at checkout, a core multi-pack in the widths your size run uses, and one problem-solving kit. Keep plated colors shallow — every finish is a separate order line with separate evidence.

All of it sits on one shelf for reference and quoting: Die bra accessories category; send your own measurements with the request.

Häufig gestellte Fragen

How many extenders per unit should I order?

Depends on whether it ships with the garment or sits on a shelf. As a packaged attach rate, many buyers test one set per three to five units and reorder from sell-through. As shelf stock, buy depth in the closure width and color your size run uses, in one pack format first; every extra width is its own line.

Are metal hooks nickel-free?

Answer that with paperwork rather than printing it as a property. Many plated hooks use a nickel underlayer; the useful question is how much releases from the finished part during skin contact. In the EU that restriction sits in entry 27 of REACH Annex XVII: request a release test report for the exact component, naming the method. Stainless grades contain nickel too. Without a report covering your part, the claim is unverified.

Can I get accessories in my brand color?

Usually yes on the textile side, conditionally on hardware. Woven webbing and elastic take dye, so a colorway is realistic once you supply a reference and accept a matching tolerance, each colorway is its own line and minimum. Molded TPR and plated metal are finished at component level, so a custom color means a tool or coating conversation.

What does a strap width actually change?

Three things: how load spreads across the shoulder, whether the strap fits the loop on the garment, and how the edge behaves after stretching. A narrow strap concentrates pressure and can curl; a wide strap sits flatter but may slide off a sloped shoulder. Because loop width is a hard constraint, measure the garment first, then choose a width inside the band your supplier produces.

Letzte Gedanken

Accessory complaints usually trace to two places, both fixable before the carton ships: the interface, where hook width or strap gauge does not match the garment, and the finish, where plating, dye lot, or elastic recovery drifts across a run.

Measure your own garment, write the number down, and ask for the report that matches it. Then run the shelf as a margin position, not a service bin: shallow widths, one problem-solving kit, and interface checks on the dock.
